• For best results, remove as much snow, slush, and ice as possible before applying the product.
• Apply evenly at a rate of approximately 70 g per square meter. Do not over-apply.
• Remove melting snow and ice promptly as the product begins to work to help maintain safe walking surfaces and reduce potential surface stress caused by repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
• During freezing rain or sleet, apply at the start of precipitation to help prevent ice buildup.
• For wet or heavy snow conditions, clear accumulated snow first, then apply the product to help prevent ice from bonding to surfaces.
• For ice-covered or hard-packed snow surfaces, apply as directed and remove loosened ice and snow as melting occurs. Reapply as needed.
• Before large-scale use, test on a small, inconspicuous area, especially on new concrete (less than 1 year old), colored or patterned concrete, precast concrete, stone, brick masonry, flagstone, or damaged surfaces.

Cautions

• Keep out of reach of children and pets. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Product may cause irritation in sensitive individuals. Avoid inhaling dust or airborne particles during application.
• Harmful if swallowed. In the event of accidental ingestion by people or animals, seek appropriate medical or veterinary advice immediately. Wash hands thoroughly after handling.
• Freeze-thaw cycles can place stress on some surfaces, particularly those of poor quality or already damaged. Prompt removal of melting snow and ice may help reduce the potential for surface damage. Use only as directed and at your own discretion.
