Step 1: Determine how much your pet eats each day 

Start by determining your pet’s daily serving size.

You can usually find this information on the packaging of your dog or cat’s food. The recommended amount will vary based on factors like weight, age, activity level, and the specific formula.

Common examples (for reference): 

• Dog around 20 lb (e.g., Beagle, Cocker Spaniel, Shiba Inu): about 1.5 cups per day 
• Adult cat (average weight between 8 and 11 lb): about ½ cup per day
