Elanco and Ren’s Scratch and Save Contest (Canada)

OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

April 1 – April 30, 2026


1. CONTEST DETAILS AND CONTEST PERIOD

  • Elanco Canada Limited (“Elanco”) and Ren's Pets (“Ren's”) are co-promoting a contest in Canada named Scratch and Save Contest (“Contest”).  
  • The Contest will run from 12:01 am (ET) on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, to 11:59 pm (ET) on Wednesday, April 30, 2026 (the “Contest Period”) only at participating Ren's retail stores in Canada. A participant shall be referred to as “You” or “Your”.
  • All prizes will be awarded by Ren's, on behalf of Elanco as the Contest sponsor.

2. TO PLAY:

No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. To enter and to be eligible to win, You must be a legal resident of Canada and be over the age of majority in Canada.

  • To enter, simply go to any participating Ren's retail store location in Canada (a “Store”), and, upon Your request, a Store associate will remit to you a Scratch and Save Card (“Scratch Card”). Each Scratch Card will have one (1) of various discounts and one (1) chance to win a prize.
  • Limit of one Scratch Card per eligible participant. 
  • A total of 100,000 Scratch Cards have been produced for the Contest and have been randomly distributed to the Stores. These will be available for distribution across Canada during the Contest Period, or while Scratch Card supplies last, whichever occurs first. Quantities may be limited and vary by Store.  
  • From the 100,000 Scratch Cards: (a) a total of 99,850 Scratch Cards will have one eligible discount in the Scratch Area Discount (as described below in Part 1); and (b) a total of 150 Scratch Cards will have an eligible winning prize in the Prize section (as described below in Part 2).  


Part 1:

  • There is one scratch area that, when scratched, will reveal a potential discount (“Scratch Area Discount”) applicable on Advantage® II and K9 Advantix® II purchase described below at a Ren's store (“Qualifying Purchase”). Scratch Area Discounts vary between $10 and $30 (specific Scratch Area Discounts amounts are listed below). Limit of one (1) Scratch Card and Scratch Area Discount that can be applied per Qualifying Purchase.

Part 2:

  • Uncover the Scratch Area in the bottom center on each Scratch Card for a chance to win a prize (“Prize”), as set out below.
  • Prize must be accepted as awarded - Prizes may not be sold, transferred and are not convertible to cash. Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable.
  • Scratch Cards for the applicable Scratch Area Discount and/or Prize must be redeemed during the Contest Period.

4. TO CLAIM A SCRATCH & WIN PRIZE

The bottom right item within the Scratch Area must reveal a Prize. In order to claim the Prize noted on Your Scratch Card, You must correctly answer, unaided, the following mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by Ren's at the time of redemption: 

              Skill Testing Question: 12 x 10 + 30 – 7 



5. TO BE DECLARED A PRIZE WINNER

For each Prize, a representative from Ren's will use his/her reasonable efforts to provide the above skill testing question to You and where the answer is deemed correct by the representative of Ren's, and You have complied with all these Contest rules (“Rules”), the Prize will be awarded to You. 

You will be required to, within 20 minutes, correctly answer the above mathematical skill-testing question without the assistance of any person or mechanical/electronic aid or recording device(s).

Should You fail to answer the skill-testing question correctly, You will not be awarded the Prize.

6. GENERAL RULES

a. Contest Scratch Cards obtained through unauthorized sources or which are tampered with, incomplete, mutilated, altered, reproduced, forged, counterfeited or irregular in any way, are automatically void. No Scratch Card copies, duplicates or reproductions of any type will be eligible for the Contest. Elanco and/or Ren's are not responsible for any mutilated, lost, stolen, destroyed or undistributed Scratch Cards. Neither Elanco nor Ren's assumes any responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, or printing errors.

b. Employees, members of their immediate family, or those domiciled with an employee of Ren's or Elanco and their affiliated and related companies, the consulting, advertising and promotion agencies of Ren's or Elanco, distributor and carriers are not eligible to participate. “Immediate family” is defined as parents, siblings, children or spouse/common law partner.)

c. By participating in this Contest, You agree to be bound by these Rules and all decisions of Elanco, which are final.

d. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law. If any provision of these Rules is found by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable, all other provisions will remain in full force and effect.

e. By participating in and entering the Contest, You agree to Ren's use of Your personal information for the purpose of administering this Contest and in accordance with applicable privacy laws and Ren's Privacy Policy located at www.renspets.com/privacy-policy.html
