Using the chart on the back of the package, divide the total cups per day by the total number of times you feed your dog per day to determine the portion size for each meal. Keep a clean bowl of fresh water available at all times. Every dog is a little different, so optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size and activity level. Please use the information below as an initial recommendation only and adjust when needed. Dry and wet food in combination will help to increase the level of water in your dog's diet. If feeding with wet food, reduce dry amount by 1/2 cup for every 6 oz. of wet food. Sizes & Amounts-> 3 lbs.-> 1/3 cup, 6 lbs.-> 2/3 cup, 10 lbs.-> 1 cup, 15 lbs.-> 1 1/3 cups, 20 lbs.-> 1 2/3 cups, 30 lbs.-> 2 1/4 cups, 40 lbs.-> 2 3/4 cups, 50 lbs.-> 3 1/3 cups, 60 lbs.-> 3 3/4 cups, 70 lbs.-> 4 1/4 cups, 80 lbs.-> 4 3/4 cups, 90 lbs.-> 5 1/4 cups, 100 lbs.-> 5 2/3 cups. For dogs over 100 lbs.: add 1/3 cup per additional 10 lbs.
When introducing a new food or treat, it's best to allow your pet to adjust gradually. For new food, we recommend a 7-day transition. Begin with a 75:25 ratio of old to new food on Day 1 and Day 2, shifting to a 50:50 mix on Day 3 and Day 4, and a 25:75 balance on Day 5 and Day 6. By Day 7, your pet can fully enjoy their new food. For treats, remember to feed them sparingly — they should constitute no more than 10% of your pet's daily caloric intake. Monitor your pet for any unusual reactions when introducing a new treat. Treats are not a substitute for balanced, complete meals.
