The Canada Pooch Weighted Calming Blanket is intended to be draped across the dogs body and is easy for the dog to get up and move. Drape the blanket across the dogs back, avoiding their neck or head, so the blanket lays evenly on either side of the dogs body. It is important to create a positive association with the calming blanket by slowly introducing your dog to this product in a calm environment. To help create a calm environment, consider laying the blanket in their favorite place to cuddle, encouraging them with treats or playing calm music. Do not leave your dog unattended when using this product. Available sizes: S,M,L Sizing Recommendation: Follow the size guide. Ensure the weight rests comfortably across your dogs entire body avoiding the head and neck. The weight of the blanket should not exceed 10% of your dogs body weight. If your dog is in between sizes, size down. If your dog stands up, remove the blanket so that the weight does not bunch up on any one area.
