COVID-19 Response

October 1, 2020 

Ren’s Pets is committed to the health and safety of our customers, team members, and communities. We are taking several safety precautions to support their well-being during COVID-19. 

This includes reduced occupancy levels in store, physical distancing, enhanced cleaning & sanitizing, mandatory masks, and offering curbside pick up. 

We understand the importance of being able to shop for your pets during this time. We are working closely with our vendors to ensure a steady supply of inventory, and with our shipping partners to ensure on-time online purchase delivery. Unfortunately, some shortages and delays may occur. 

We will continue to follow precautions in accordance with municipal by-laws and Public Health, to keep everyone safe.

 

October 16, 2020 

We have been informed that an employee at Ren’s Pets Downsview (81 Billy Bishop Way, North York) has tested positive for COVID-19. The last shift worked in-store by the employee was Saturday, October 10, 2020. The employee is self-isolating at home and we wish them well. 

Telehealth has been contacted, but Public Health has not provided any directions at this time. This notice is being shared out of caution and concern for our customers. The store will be closed on Saturday, October 17 for deep cleaning and thorough sanitization.
