President’s Blog: Proudly Canadian

From our humble beginnings in 1975 as a small Canadian feed and supply store, Ren’s Pets has quickly expanded with 25 stores across Canada and so many more to come. We’re a proudly Canadian company, comprised of people who are passionate about helping pets live their best lives.   

As a proudly Canadian company and community of pet-lovers, we understand the needs of our customers and their four-legged family members. Dedicated to helping these customers and their furry companions, we believe in building trust by consistently providing high quality products and unmatched service. We believe in the power of positive customer relationships, which can only be strengthened when there is a sense of security and reliability in the products and services provided to them. 

As a Canadian business, we strive to support our great country and communities by joining hands with local humane societies, charities, rescues and other organizations. Ren’s is proud to be a national sponsor for OVC Pet Trust, Canada's first charitable fund benefiting the health of companion animals. At Ren’s, we’re also partners, not competitors, with local groomers and other pet professionals. Recognizing how important support from the community is to the success of a business, we’re very grateful for the support we’ve received over the years from these organizations, professionals, and loyal customers. 

Dedicated to supporting fellow Canadian businesses, Ren’s is very proud to have many vendor partners located in Canada and to be able to offer locally sourced products. From food and treats to accessories, Ren’s carries items from several vendors that proudly make their products in Canada. 

Since joining Ren’s Pets eight years ago, I’ve felt honoured to be a member of such a passionate team that takes pride in and is committed to bettering our communities. Ren’s is a place where I discovered what it truly means to be “Proudly Canadian.”
