DAILY FEEDING GUIDELINES (for adult dogs over 12 months): Weight of Adult Dog (lbs) Serving Size Up to 5 lbs. 1/2 cup* 6 to 10 lbs. 1/2 - 3/4 cup* 11 to 20 lbs. 3/4 - 1 1/2 cup* 21 to 30 lbs. 1 1/2 - 2 cup* 31 to 40 lbs. 2 - 2 1/2 cup* *Standard 8-ounce measuring cup The amounts in the table are intended as guidelines only. The food intake should be adjusted according to the age, weight, breed, temperature, climate and activity level of your dog. Consult a veterinarian for specific weight recommendations. Adult dogs should be fed either once or twice per day. When you first start feeding Natural Balance® L.I.D. Limited Ingredient Diets® Salmon & Sweet Potato Formula Small Breed Bites Dog Food, we suggest starting with the amounts recommended in the table. Energy requirements vary with environmental conditions, temperature and activity of your dog. The amount of food should always be adjusted to suit your dog's needs. Keep clean water available at all times.

When introducing a new food or treat, it's best to allow your pet to adjust gradually. For new food, we recommend a 7-day transition. Begin with a 75:25 ratio of old to new food on Day 1 and Day 2, shifting to a 50:50 mix on Day 3 and Day 4, and a 25:75 balance on Day 5 and Day 6. By Day 7, your pet can fully enjoy their new food. For treats, remember to feed them sparingly — they should constitute no more than 10% of your pet's daily caloric intake. Monitor your pet for any unusual reactions when introducing a new treat. Treats are not a substitute for balanced, complete meals.
