Ren’s Pets Celebrates Annual DOGUST Campaign to Support Pet Care at Veterinary Colleges
[Guelph, ON, August 10, 2023] – Ren’s Pets has kicked off their annual DOGUST campaign, to help raise awareness and funds to support pet care. The initiative runs for the month of August collecting donations and selling product in support of improving pet’s lives through partners Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) in Guelph and Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) in Prince Edward Island. The campaign raised $55,000 last year.
“We’re so proud to bring back DOGUST this year, after a record year of funds raised in 2022 through the generosity of our customers, partners, and vendors,” said Scott Arsenault, CEO at Ren’s Pets. “Our Ren’s team really believes in this cause, to improve the lives of pets through great care, which both OVC and AVC provide. We’re focused on raising awareness for these organizations and what they do, along with monetary support. I had to bring my pup Kylie to OVC just last year, and the care she received was amazing so I personally know what exceptional, caring work OVC does with pets.”
Customers can donate to DOGUST in store or online and will be given the opportunity to win a massive Outdoor Summer Prize Pack valued at over $6000. It includes an e-bike, smoker, Yeti chair/blanket combo, Adirondak chairs, inca extreme 65L pack, solo stove, kayak, Sonos speaker, tent, Go Pro, camping duffle bag, outdoor heater, 2 camp chairs, cooler bag, hammock, Apple watch & 2 Grizzly 20 qt coolers! You can also purchase delicious Canadian-made KandJu gummy candy, with the proceeds going to the campaign.
