Using the chart on the back of the package, divide the total cups per day by the total number of times you feed your puppy per day to determine the portion size for each meal. Keep a clean bowl of fresh water available at all times. Every puppy is a little different, so optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size and activity level. Please use the information below as an initial recommendation only and adjust when needed. Dry and wet food in combination will help to increase the level of water in your puppy's diet. If feeding with wet food, reduce dry amount by 1/2 cup for every 6 oz. of wet food. Pregnant or nursing females may consume two or three times the recommended amount per day. For adult dogs, we recommend feeding 75% of the recommended amount for puppies 16-52 weeks of age. Sizes & Amounts-> New Puppy (6-16 Weeks) 2 lbs-> 2/3 cup, 5 lbs-> 1 1/4 cups, 10 lbs-> 2 cups, 15 lbs-> 2 1/2 cups, 20 lbs-> 3 cups, 25 lbs-> 3 1/2 cups, 30 lbs-> 4 cups, New Puppy (16-52 Weeks) 2 lbs-> 1/2 cup, 5 lbs-> 1 cup, 10 lbs-> 1 1/2 cups, 15 lbs-> 2 cups, 20 lbs-> 2 1/2 cups, 25 lbs-> 3 cups, 30 lbs-> 3 1/4 cups. For dogs over 30 lbs: add 1/2 cup per additional 5 lbs.

When introducing a new food or treat, it's best to allow your pet to adjust gradually. For new food, we recommend a 7-day transition. Begin with a 75:25 ratio of old to new food on Day 1 and Day 2, shifting to a 50:50 mix on Day 3 and Day 4, and a 25:75 balance on Day 5 and Day 6. By Day 7, your pet can fully enjoy their new food. For treats, remember to feed them sparingly — they should constitute no more than 10% of your pet's daily caloric intake. Monitor your pet for any unusual reactions when introducing a new treat. Treats are not a substitute for balanced, complete meals.
