The Sponsor and Co-Sponsor are collectively referred to as the "Sponsors".
1.2 Agreement to the Rules. By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules (the "Rules") and by the decisions of the Sponsors, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest, subject to applicable law.
2. Contest Period
2.1 The Contest begins on October 1, 2026 at 12:01:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") and ends on October 31, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET (the "Contest Period"). For in-store transactions, entries are available only during the participating store's regular business hours during the Contest Period. The Sponsors' computer systems are the official timekeeping devices for the Contest.
3. Eligibility
3.1 The Contest is open only to legal residents of Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador who have reached the age of majority in their province of residence at the time of entry. The age of majority is 18 in Ontario and Prince Edward Island, and 19 in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
3.2 Employees, officers, directors, representatives and agents of the Sponsors, their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, prize suppliers, travel providers and contest administrators, and persons domiciled with any of them, are not eligible to enter. The Contest is not open to residents of Quebec and is void where prohibited by law.
3.3 A free Ren's Rewards account in good standing is required for automatic purchase, Autoship, membership and points-redemption entries. An entrant is not required to consent to receive promotional electronic messages in order to enter the Contest. Entrants using the no-purchase method in section 5 are not required to become Ren's Rewards members.
4. How to Enter Through Ren's Rewards
4.1 Qualifying Products. Any Oven-Baked Tradition product purchased from a participating Ren's Pets store or through renspets.com during the Contest Period is a "Qualifying Product". Gift cards, taxes, delivery fees and other non-product charges are not Qualifying Products.
4.2 Qualifying Purchase Entry. During the Contest Period, purchase at least one Qualifying Product in a single transaction at a participating Ren's Pets store in an eligible province or online at renspets.com. Identify your Ren's Rewards account at checkout in-store or be logged into your account online. You will receive one (1) entry for each separate qualifying transaction, regardless of the number or value of Qualifying Products purchased in that transaction. There is no limit on the number of Qualifying Purchase Entries an entrant may earn during the Contest Period, provided each entry results from a separate, completed qualifying transaction and otherwise complies with these Rules.
4.3 Autoship Entry. During the Contest Period, complete an Autoship transaction containing at least one Qualifying Product while logged into your Ren's Rewards account. You will receive one (1) entry for each separate qualifying Autoship transaction. There is no limit on the number of Autoship Entries an entrant may earn during the Contest Period, provided each entry results from a separate, completed qualifying transaction. An Autoship transaction will not also receive a separate Qualifying Purchase Entry under section 4.2.
4.4 New-Member Bonus Entry. If you are not already a Ren's Rewards member, join Ren's Rewards during the Contest Period by completing a membership enrollment form through one of the following approved enrollment channels: online at renspets.com or in-store at a participating Ren's Pets location. Once your account is successfully created, you will receive one (1) bonus entry. Limit one (1) New-Member Bonus Entry per person during the Contest Period. Creating a duplicate or additional account does not qualify.
4.5 Points-Redemption Bonus Entry. During the Contest Period, redeem any number of Ren's Rewards points in a transaction at a participating Ren's Pets store in an eligible province or online at renspets.com and identify your Ren's Rewards account at checkout. You will receive one (1) bonus entry for each separate transaction in which points are redeemed, regardless of the number of points redeemed or the value obtained. There is no limit on the number of Points-Redemption Bonus Entries an entrant may earn during the Contest Period, provided each entry results from a separate, completed points-redemption transaction and otherwise complies with these Rules. A qualifying transaction may earn both one (1) Qualifying Purchase Entry under section 4.2 and one (1) Points-Redemption Bonus Entry under this section.
4.6 Timing and Validation. Automatic entries may take up to 5 business days to appear in the Sponsor's records. A transaction must be completed and accepted during the Contest Period. Entries associated with a cancelled, declined, fraudulent, returned or fully refunded transaction, or with a reversed points redemption, may be voided. A partial return will not void the entry if at least one Qualifying Product remains in the transaction.
5. No-Purchase Method of Entry
5.1 To enter without making a purchase, visit www.renspets.com/contact-us during the Contest Period and complete the online form with your full name, email address and telephone number. In the comment section of the form, enter the words "Oven-Baked Banff Contest" and provide a unique response of at least fifty (50) words to the question: "Why would you and your pet love to visit Banff?" Then follow the instructions to submit the form. Each complete and eligible submission constitutes one (1) no-purchase entry. There is no limit on the number of no-purchase entries an entrant may submit during the Contest Period, provided each submission complies with section 5.2.
5.2 A response must be original to the entrant and materially different from every other response submitted by that entrant. Mechanically reproduced, copied, repetitive, automated or incomplete submissions are void. No-purchase entries are subject to the same verification standards and conditions in section 6.
6. Entry Limits and Conditions
6.1 Unlimited Entries. There is no limit on the number of Qualifying Purchase Entries, Autoship Entries, Points-Redemption Bonus Entries or no-purchase entries an entrant may earn or submit during the Contest Period, subject to these Rules. The New-Member Bonus Entry remains limited to one (1) per person during the Contest Period. Each qualifying transaction or no-purchase submission generates only the entry or entries expressly described in sections 4 and 5.
6.2 An entrant may use any or all of the available entry methods. Entries obtained using multiple identities, multiple or fictitious accounts, scripts, bots, macros, automated services or any other fraudulent or abusive means are void. In case of a dispute, an entry is deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the entry, subject to proof satisfactory to the Sponsor.
6.3 All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Proof of submission, purchase or transmission is not proof of receipt. The Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are late, lost, misdirected, incomplete, incompatible, corrupted or not received due to technical, network, platform, account or human error.
7. Prize
7.1 Prize Description. There is one (1) grand prize available to be won (the "Prize"), consisting of: (a) round-trip economy airfare for the winner and one (1) guest, departing from a major commercial airport selected by the Sponsors in Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia or Prince Edward Island to Calgary, Alberta, with the return flight also departing from Calgary, up to a maximum airfare budget of CAD $4,000, including any approved airline transportation fee for one (1) small dog or one (1) cat if requested by the winner and accepted by the applicable airline; (b) four (4) consecutive nights' standard double-occupancy accommodation at a pet-friendly hotel or resort in Banff, Golden or Canmore, Alberta, selected through the Sponsors' designated travel agency in consultation with the winner, up to a maximum accommodation budget of CAD $3,500; (c) a prepaid Visa card for the unused balance, if any, of the Travel Component budget described in section 7.2 after the airfare and accommodation are booked; and (d) the Oven-Baked Tradition pet food award described in section 7.3. The maximum total approximate retail value ("ARV") of the Prize is CAD $12,000, consisting of a Travel Component with a maximum ARV of CAD $10,500 and a Pet Food Component with a maximum ARV of CAD $1,500.
7.2 Travel Component. The airfare, accommodation, any approved airline pet transportation fee and prepaid Visa card described in section 7.1 are collectively the "Travel Component" and have a combined maximum ARV of CAD $10,500. The Travel Component consists of: (a) a maximum airfare budget of CAD $4,000; (b) a maximum accommodation budget of CAD $3,500; and (c) a prepaid Visa card in an amount equal to CAD $10,500 less the actual cost of the airfare and accommodation booked through the Sponsors' designated travel agency. Any approved airline pet transportation fee forms part of the airfare cost. If the actual airfare or accommodation cost is below the applicable maximum, the unused amount remains part of the balance issued on the prepaid Visa card. If a preferred itinerary or accommodation exceeds an applicable maximum, the winner must select an available option within the applicable budget or, if permitted by the travel agency and provider, pay the excess directly. Any amount paid by the winner does not increase the value of the Prize. The designated travel agency will book the airfare and accommodation on the winner's behalf and confirm the actual cost of each to the Sponsors before the prepaid Visa card is issued. The travel agency may also present activities, packages, ground transportation and scheduling options based on the winner's preferences. The winner may use the prepaid Visa card for eligible options arranged through the travel agency, to the extent accepted by the travel agency or provider, and for meals and other personal purchases during the trip.
7.3 Pet Food Component. The Prize includes an Oven-Baked Tradition pet food award intended to represent approximately one (1) year's supply for one (1) eligible dog or one (1) eligible cat owned by the winner, up to a maximum ARV of CAD $1,500 (the "Pet Food Component"). The Pet Food Component is provided directly by the Co-Sponsor at its own cost and is included in the maximum total Prize ARV stated in section 7.1. The quantity will be calculated using the pet's species, age, weight, feeding requirements and applicable feeding guidelines. Actual consumption may vary, and the Sponsors do not guarantee that the products awarded will last exactly twelve (12) months.
7.4 Food Fulfilment and Eligibility. The Pet Food Component will be awarded through product shipments, Ren's Pets gift cards redeemable exclusively for Oven-Baked Tradition products, promotional codes or a combination of these methods, as determined by the Sponsors. The Sponsors will determine the product selection, quantities and fulfilment schedule, acting reasonably and subject to availability. The winner may be required to provide information about the pet, including species, breed, age, weight and dietary requirements. If the winner does not own an eligible dog or cat when the Pet Food Component is fulfilled, that component will be forfeited without cash or other substitution. The winner is responsible for confirming that the selected food is appropriate for the pet, including consulting a veterinarian where appropriate.
7.5 Travel Planning and Requirements. The winner and guest must travel together on the same itinerary. Following confirmation of the winner, the Sponsors will introduce the winner to the Sponsors' designated travel agency to begin trip planning. Airfare and accommodation must be booked through that travel agency, and travel must be completed within twelve (12) months after the winner is confirmed, subject to the booking deadline set by the Sponsors or travel agency, blackout dates, advance-notice requirements and availability. The accommodation location may be Banff, Golden or Canmore and will be selected in consultation with the winner and the travel agency, taking into account the winner's preferred activities and available options within the Prize budget. The winner and guest are responsible for valid government-issued identification and all documents required for travel. If the guest is a minor, all authorizations and releases required by the Sponsors and travel providers must be provided. The winner may travel without a pet; in that event, no separate cash or other substitution will be provided for unused pet transportation, although any resulting unused portion of the Travel Component budget will be reflected in the prepaid Visa card calculation under section 7.2.
7.6 Pet Eligibility and Winner Costs. Any accompanying pet must be one (1) small dog or one (1) cat owned by the winner and must comply with all airline, ground-transportation and accommodation policies, including species, breed, size, weight, carrier, behaviour, health and vaccination requirements. The Sponsors do not guarantee that a pet will be permitted in an aircraft cabin or accepted by any provider. Except for components expressly included in the Prize or paid by the winner using the prepaid Visa card, the winner is responsible for veterinary appointments, health certificates, pet carriers, pet fees exceeding the airfare budget, meals, gratuities, travel insurance, personal expenses, optional upgrades, additional baggage, excursions, ground transportation, transportation to and from the selected departure airport, and all other costs not expressly included. An eligible winner residing outside Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia or Prince Edward Island, including a winner residing in Newfoundland and Labrador, is solely responsible for travelling to and from the departure airport selected by the Sponsors in one of those four provinces.
7.7 Value, Substitution and No Cash Election. The actual value of the Prize may vary depending on the departure location, travel dates, provider rates and the pet's feeding requirements. The prepaid Visa card will be calculated only as described in section 7.2, and the winner is not entitled to any other difference between the stated ARV and the actual value. The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be sold, assigned, exchanged or redeemed for cash, except that the Sponsors may substitute all or part of the Prize with a prize of equal or greater value if a stated component is unavailable for reasons beyond their reasonable control.
7.8 Changes, Cancellations and Travel Disruptions. All travel is subject to availability and to the terms, conditions, change and cancellation policies of the applicable airline, hotel, travel agency and other providers. Airfares, hotel rates and availability may change until a booking is confirmed. If the winner requests a change or cancellation after booking, the winner is responsible for any change fee, cancellation fee, fare or rate increase, and other resulting cost. A component may be forfeited if it cannot be changed or rebooked within the required travel period. If an airline, hotel or other provider changes or cancels a booked service for reasons outside the Sponsors' reasonable control, the travel agency will use reasonable efforts to assist the winner in obtaining and applying any replacement service, refund or travel credit made available by that provider. Any refund or credit attributable to a Sponsor-paid booking remains part of the Prize and must be applied to replacement travel; it will not be paid to the winner in cash. The Sponsors are not required to provide funds above the CAD $10,500 Travel Component budget. The winner is responsible for additional expenses caused by a missed departure, delay, cancellation or interruption, except to the extent a provider makes a refund, credit or other remedy available. Travel insurance is strongly recommended and is the winner's responsibility.
7.9 Prepaid Visa Card. The prepaid Visa card will be issued only after the airfare and accommodation have been booked and their actual costs have been confirmed. The card is subject to the issuer's terms, activation requirements, available balance, expiry date, fees, usage restrictions and merchant acceptance. The winner must use the card to pay for optional activities, packages or other travel arrangements selected through the designated travel agency to the extent the travel agency or provider accepts prepaid Visa cards. Any remaining balance may be used for meals and other purchases wherever the card is accepted. The Sponsors are not responsible if a particular merchant or provider does not accept the card. After the card is delivered, the risk of loss or unauthorized use passes to the winner, subject to any protection or replacement rights offered by the issuer.
8. Draw, Odds and Winner Selection
8.1 Random Draw. On or about November 6, 2026 at 12 PM ET in Guelph, Ontario, the Sponsors or their designated contest administrator will conduct a random draw from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. One (1) entrant will be selected as the potential winner.
8.2 Odds. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. The Prize is not allocated by province or region.
8.3 Skill-Testing Question. Before being declared the winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer, without assistance and within a limited time, a mathematical skill-testing question administered by telephone, email or another method selected by the Sponsor.
8.4 Notification and Claim. The Sponsors or administrator will attempt to contact the selected entrant using the contact information provided with the entry. The selected entrant must respond within five (5) business days after the first contact attempt and, within the deadline specified by the Sponsors, provide proof of identity, age, residence and eligibility; correctly answer the skill-testing question; and sign and return a declaration of eligibility, liability release and, where lawful, publicity release, together with all Prize-related documents. The guest must sign any travel and liability release required before tickets are issued.
8.5 Disqualification and Alternate Draw. A selected entrant may be disqualified if the entrant cannot be contacted, does not respond or provide documents on time, fails to satisfy these Rules or the confirmed Prize requirements, incorrectly answers the skill-testing question, or declines the Prize. In that event, the Sponsors may select another potential winner by random draw from the remaining eligible entries and repeat the process until a winner is confirmed or the Sponsors reasonably determine that the Prize cannot be awarded.
9. Releases and Publicity
9.1 By accepting the Prize, the winner releases and holds harmless the Sponsors and each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, prize suppliers, travel providers, administrators, officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, the "Released Parties") from claims, losses, damages or liability arising from participation in the Contest or the acceptance, possession, travel, use or misuse of the Prize, except to the extent caused by a Released Party's gross negligence or wilful misconduct or to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
9.2 Where permitted by law, the winner grants the Sponsors and their promotional partners permission to use the winner's name, city and province of residence, likeness, voice, photograph and statements relating to the Contest for reasonable contest-related publicity without further notice or compensation. Any consent that is legally required to be optional will be requested separately.
10. Privacy
10.1 Personal information collected in connection with the Contest will be used to administer the Contest, verify eligibility, contact selected entrants, deliver the Prize, prevent fraud and comply with legal requirements, in accordance with the Sponsor's privacy policy available at www.renspets.com/privacy . Information may be disclosed to the Co-Sponsor, contest administrator, prize suppliers, travel providers and other service providers only as reasonably necessary for those purposes or as required by law.
10.2 Joining Ren's Rewards is subject to the applicable program terms and privacy notice. Consent to receive marketing communications is not required to enter the Contest, does not increase the chances of winning and must be obtained separately in accordance with applicable law. An entrant may withdraw marketing consent without losing valid Contest entries.
11. General Conditions
11.1 The Sponsors may verify entries and entrant information at any time. Any attempt to tamper with the entry process, obtain entries by fraud, interfere with the Contest, abuse a promotion, or act in a disruptive or unsportsmanlike manner may result in disqualification and any other remedies available by law.
11.2 If the Contest cannot be conducted as intended because of fraud, technical failure, platform failure, cyber incident, unauthorized intervention, printing or production error, natural disaster, public emergency or another cause beyond the Sponsors' reasonable control, the Sponsors may, subject to applicable law, cancel, suspend, modify or terminate the Contest and, if appropriate, award the Prize by random draw from among eligible, non-suspect entries received before the event giving rise to the action. Any modification will not materially reduce the value of a Prize already awarded except where necessary because of circumstances beyond the Sponsors' reasonable control and subject to applicable law.
11.3 In the event of a discrepancy between these Rules and any advertising, point-of-sale, digital, social media or other promotional material, these Rules govern. If the Sponsors discover an error affecting the number of prizes or entries, no more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded.
11.4 The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Rules does not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. The Sponsors' failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Headings are for convenience only.
11.5 The Contest and these Rules are governed by the federal laws of Canada and the laws of the Province of Ontario, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, subject to any mandatory laws that apply in an entrant's province of residence. Any dispute must be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction, unless the parties agree otherwise.
12. Contact and Rules
12.1 A copy of these Rules is available at renspets.com during the Contest Period. Questions may be directed to info@renspets.com.
