I use the medium size for my smaller dogs, but they don't compare to the original Vari-Kennels. They are a royal pain to clean inside with nooks and crannies and holes that catch food and hair and dirt and are extremely awkward to clean out. They don't stack with the old style Varis - whoever designed these has surely doesn't have a dog in one!
